What Attire To Wear For Outside Winter Exercise!

I love being outside in all seasons of the year. However, in the winter for the state of North Carolina. It doesn’t get extremely cold but it would be in one’s best interest to dress appropriately to prevent from getting sick. If you are like me, I would recommend the following:

-Beanie aka toboggan hat: To protect your head/ears from being cold.

-Gloves: Will protect your hands from being ice cold.

-A-shirt(tank-top), long-sleeve shirt, hoodie and winter coat. If you get too hot you can opt to take off the winter coat: These items will keep your upper torso nice and warm.

-Leggings/Long Johns, Sweat-Pants/Joggers: Both will keep your legs warm.

-Long black/white socks: Sometimes I will wear two pair of socks. One pair of ankle socks and one pair of long(crew) socks: Have to keep the feet warm.

-1 Pair of running/walking shoes or even a pair of cross-trainer shoes: I would recommend at least 2 pair of running/walking shoes so you won’t wear out your feet or your shoes. If you are a hiker/trail walker/runner I highly recommend hiking shoes/boots.

Don’t forget to smile while exercising and try not to think about the worries or stress of your day!
