Last night after looking at a drive thru Christmas light show. My family and I decided that we were all hungry and wanted to eat at Outback Steakhouse in Garner, North Carolina. I knew I didn’t want anything with too many calories but it also had to be yummy. With that being said, I finally decided that I wanted to try the Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp. According to the menu, the calorie intake is around 550 calories compared to several other entrees that were well over 1,000 calories. Not only were the calories lower than most other entrees but the shrimp and dipping sauce were absolutely delicious. Sometimes, you get tired of cooking or you simply want something outside of your regular diet. If you feel this way, you should definitely try the gold coconut shrimp and I’m sure you will not be disappointed. Your tastebuds will honestly thank you. Below is a link through an exercise/food app called “My Fitness Pal” that I use on a daily basis. It breaks down the calories as well as the carbs, fat and protein. I use the free edition but there is a premium edition however, the caveat is it cost money.
