Last week I went to visit the North Carolina Baseball Museum, located in Wilson, NC. The museum itself is actually located inside of the Wilson Tobs Fleming Stadium. So, when you get there it will look as if it is just the stadium, but after entering into the gates. Take a left and the last building is where the museum is located on the right hand side. The days and hours vary when the museum is open to the public. Thursday-Saturday’s hours are from 10am-4pm, and Sunday’s hours are from 1pm-5pm. The museum is ran by volunteers so do not be surprised if you arrive and it’s not open yet. However, do not fret because someone will help and open up the museum for you. The museum consists of baseball memorabilia from native North Carolina ball players. It is definitely worth seeing if you are a fan of baseball or even a history or sports buff.
